Keelakee West Slope |
The main slope facing West... Easy to find from Tallagh and the M50. Exit at Ballyboden / Firehouse and follow the sign to Keelakee ( second roundabout, direction Tallaght from the M50). This is the way to the Johnnie Fox Pub as well :o). At the top of the mountain, there is a panoramic view (beautiful view to the Dublin Bay by the way !). Go straight here and drive for about 2 / 3 Kilometres and you will see a car park on your right, facing the Valley.. It's here. In the picture on the right, the car park is under the clouds....Irish Weather.. ;o)

Keelakee
North Slope |
Easy to find.. Go to the main West Slope and go straight here.. First crossroad, turn right (about 1Km from the West slope). Go down to the road, and park where ever you want. You arrive in a road as show in the picture above. Very flat slope, but you can fly everything the good days. |

Glencree
East Slope |
Another easy slope to find from the main slope. Go straight to the road from the West slope until you arrive to a crossroad to the Glencree village (on your left). Stay on the main road (don't go down) and park your car after the crossroad... The slope is the mountain on your right... Yep, you have to climb now !. In the picture on the right, you can see the crossroad to Glencree ( the road going down). |
