Thanks for the warning Fred. I have never used this model supplier but have seen their website. As for refunds on the CC, I had my card details hacked last year and lost over £1000.00. I got the card stopped and spoke to the card provider, who looked into the incident very quickly. The money which was taken out of my account, was refunded the next month. Check all your accounts and inform your bank that your CC has been hacked!! ASAP

I did that. But the bank said they will have to investigate it, which may take two or three weeks. Not sure if they will give me the money back. Luckily it was not too much.

Still no "new" news on that one.. I'll let you all know as soon as I have some.

Alan, talk to your bank, they must refund first...Investigation comes after, this is the European law, and they must comply (bloody bankers!  :twisted: ), but you need to go to the guards first.

Like you Alan, I have been told by my (English) credit card company that I must fill in some forms so that they can “investigate”(  :roll: ) my claim of unauthorized use.

They say the money will be refunded within 30 days of the completed form being received by the CC company.

I am sure this process must be a very ‘well oiled machine.’ I understand that credit card fraud is a very common form of theft these days.
