Goosers is the first pub in the town on the way into Ballina, Please note I keep refering to Killaloe, so no one ends up in the other Ballina!!!

Looking at the long range weather forcast it looks like the wind will be coming from the east again    :!: . Whats happening with the weather. Dont remember there been so may easterly winds before, especialy at this time of year. Is there any good east slopes at Killaloe? I have an OS map of the area but have not looked at it in detail yet.

Edit: just to be clear we are meeting in Killaloe, not Ballina right.

Okay, wind looks like westerly of some sort so the main site on the Graves is fine for this. If it turns out Easterly, Ger Buckley (Limerick) has given me directions to another site.

Goosers is the meeting place as it has been circulated from the start, we meet there last year and a change of meeting venue will only confuse.

I will bring tea and coffee, please bring a mug to drink from and a tea spoon!

I think my  valentia Dragon should be finished, me S2G fox and the topmodel Ventus, so will be a busy day.

Looking forward to seeing everone

Ralph

Ok. I'll be there as early as I can. Just to be clear is Goosers in Killaloe. I don't want to go to wrong village. It does'nt matter realy. I have a OS map of the area and I think I know where the slopes are. The Graves of the Leinster Men, I think thats the place if the wind is in a westerly direction.

Alan,
if you tell someone to go to Ballina you end up in co. Mayo, however there is in Fact 2 Ballinas in Ireland. Goosers is in Ballina, Co. Clare but it is just easier to refer to the town as Killaloe (which is the town on the farside of the river) You are right to be looking for Killaloe (lovely and confusing???)

See you all on Sunday

Ralph
