finally we got to run our first thermal comp of the year  :clap:
it was good to catch up with Frank, Ronnie, Tommy, Jimmy, Bill, Mike, Paul and Sam
conditions where challenging and not everyone got an 8 minute round

well done sam for winning again and paul for coming second  :clap:  :clap:
for me the pilot of the day was Bill finishing a brilliant 4th place flying his own design 100" model  :clap:  :clap:  :clap:  
Bill will probably have the results on www.nimsa.co.uk site

As Andrew says good to get the first comp done and with a good turnout of 8. John missed out because the wheel bearing on his car gave up on the way across and he had to turn back.
Challenging air made it impossibe to predict where the lift was and we were all having to get used to having a big wind turbine in the  line of sight!
Again, well done to Sam, winning by a small margin over 4 rounds with the best 3 scores counting.
