Newcastle Air show 2011

(1/2) > >>

JohnPearson:
Hi all

Went down to Newcastle today, for the local airshow, and I must say that it was very good. The number of aircraft taking part was small compared with other airshows, however, the display line was very close to the crowd line and I was able to get some low pass shots. Also the time slots between the displays where very short, therefore the showline was busy all afternoon.

Here are a few photos :

Happy landings

Fred:
Some very good shots here Mr P!
We may have to organise a trip to an airshow some day!  :D

gerryb:
great shots john, right up there with the aircraft. that mustang looks like it's on a dead stick approach! it wasn't, was it ????

Happy Days:
Yes, I like the mustang shots as well, especially with the bird on the wing. :D

And three Long eezz in pattern flight, never seen three at the same time before.

Very nice shots JP, well done.

I think aeroplanes lost a lot of their charisma when they lost their propellers, don’t you? :(

Does that mean you don't like gliders anymore Keith, seeing that they don't have propellers.  :P  :P
