andrew wallace:

had a good few flights with the quark today and it's SOME glider i would say the bullet will be gathering dust this year
i bought a multi-fun glider at the end of the summer before i got the quark and i have to say the quark wins hands down

conditions were tricky today cause the wind had a bit of south in it and the lift was coming and going but the wee quark flew a blinder and even in winds up to 30mph

we're over looking Magilligan here and you can see how much water is laying on the land  :(  it's been like this now for months  :(

Freedom Flyer:
Andy,
That Quark is a pretty sweet looking plane, Nice job.  My two older brothers got this sail plane for me about 5 years ago, A Canterbury Sailplanes F-20,  I'm not a foam builder(yet), when I opened it up, there were a lot of parts missing so I shoved it under the bench and left it.  About a year ago my brother Wayne asked me if I was going to build it, I told him probably not as I didn't feel like trying to track down the parts.  He said he'd like to build it for me, I didn't argue :D .  It took him a while, but this is what he presented me with.  It weighs in at 1800 grams and flies beautifully in 25+mph winds, like it's on a rail. The day I test flew, it was blowing about 43mph. what a blast!!! Freedom Flyer

Freedom Flyer:
It might help if I actually post the pictures huh?  Freedom Flyer

Nice model Tracy. I remember reading a review about it years ago. I wonder if they are still available.
