Retroplane... In Ireland !

Hi there,

1 or 2 years ago, we were talking, as a joke, to do the Retroplane meeting in Ireland (being French, living in Ireland, I was teasing a lot about the pubs and the smooth slopes we have around here !  )...
Well, we did not left the idea aside, and finally after checking the feasability, Retroplane 2009 will be held for the first time abroad, and that will be in Ireland.

That give us almost 2 years to get prepared and build a Vintage glider.

Hmmmm...  Maybe I should l get one of your Opel Rak kits...  It's a gorgeous plane in the air, I really enjoyed watching it at Mweelin.

The other vintage planes I rather like is of course the old evergreen Minimoa, and the other one is that French plane that I forgot the name of now- it's got a big bubble canopy and a vee tail (one of the Bréguet models).

Never done scale before, but this Retroplane thing seems something special!
