Retroplane... In Ireland !

--- Quote from: "Happy Days" --- I post a weather report on this thread at about 9am. If the weather is okay I'll meet you up there an hour or two later?

sounds like a plan!
it is two and a half hours drive from where I live,
so I would prefer to hit the road before 8am.
I'll check winguru/met.ie (and forum if you happen to post your report that early) for weather update before I leave.
Happy Days:
Cool Dennis,
The west slope is better than the South one. Easier to get to and gives better lift. If those wind speeds prove to be right you'd better bring some balast with you :D Yipppppeeeeee!
K.
Alan_Perse:
There should be people their on Sunday. Flying will probably start at 10am. I'll be their with what I have built of my K8 so far. I wont be flying though.
Happy Days:
I think most of the "Retroplaners" will still be in bed at 10 o/c Alan
Will you be bringing anything to fly?
Alan_Perse:
Well I might bring my orange and yellow floater. But I think the wind is going to be too strong for it. And when the "Retroplaners" begin to fly the only thing allowed to fly are Vintage gliders and mine's not ready to fly yet :( :( . Well my main goal is to see everyone else's scale gliders anyway.
