Well, what a day ! Lots of flying, good wind, a bit of sun, and 2 successfull maiden flights !

Saw some new faces too, welcome guys !  :D

Sorry, I don't have a lot of photos, but if you have some, and videos, go ahead !  :D

If you have Hi res. photos of the Ka3/Backstrom in flight and videos, can you send them to me ? --> fred@gliderireland.net

Well done Fred - two maidens in one day is quite somthing and the sight of the huge Ka3 taking to the air for he first time will stay with me for awhile.  Fantastic.  Did we not get it on video?

That was a great day (still smiling...) and I think you saw one of the best place to fly gliders in the East coast of Ireland ! (no shame, I can say that !  :wink:  :P )

I agree with Peter. That Ka3 flight was great. You have inspired me to keep working on my Ka8. Hopefully I will finish it in....................err sometime. :P  :P

I need to get more videos out of the camera... but youtube reduces too much the quality.

In the meantime i was wondering, are the next days going to be ok to fly?
I cant imagine 4 days at home and not being able to fly at least in one.

I'm got one shockflyer at least i can do torque rolls inside house! :)
