Roll up! Roll up! for a Great Weekend (29 -30th Sep.)
Happy Days:
Well, not really John. It is possible to fly in ESE winds but it’s a long walk to the slope and unless there’s a howling gale the slope only produces light lift. (It’s actually at the far end of the south slope which curves round a little bit to slightly face SE.)
It can be flown but it is difficult,…..unless your name is Fred Marie!
At the moment the winds are forecast as SW to N over the course of the two days. :D
What are you bringing with you John?
K.
johnfireball:
Heres a Pic, it's an oldie 2m span glass fuse, wardrobe find . Anyone guess what it is?
johnfireball:
Hi Keith,
All my website forecasts are showing east to southeast winds all weekend.
John.
Happy Days:
Hate to say this John, but I think you might be looking at the wrong weekend!!!!!
The glide - in is not this coming weekend, it’s next weekend (29th - 30th )
The model looks very interesting. To my mind it looks a little bit like a Jart. 8) I know it’s not,….I’m just saying in my opinion it's similar. Love the big rudder / elevator 8) and the swept wings. I’ll look forward to seeing that one airborne. :D

OOPS! And here's me charging batteries.
John.
