Having a spot of bother with some Oracover. :!:
I’ve cut it to size, stuck down all around the edges (in this case, the base of a tail Fin)  Now I’m starting to tighten the covering with a hotter iron setting it’s started pulling back off of the edges of the wood.

Never had this problem before. Anyone else had this problem? More to the point, does anyone have a solution?? :?:

Keith,
the solution is to do it again. Put the film on as tight as you can before shrinking it and you will not need so much heat to finish pulling the covering taut. :(

Hmmm, :?:  :?:  I guess you could be right Ralph . I’ve never had this problem before though. :?

I’m not so sure about 'doing it all again'…….might just put a thin sliver of covering over the exposed piece of wood. ….(I’m eager to move on with the build  )

Thanks for your sugestion.

BTW….. What was the answer to that question about molecular alloy bonding?
