A few photos from me in a Stemme over the Rockys!
Airport is at almost 10,000 feet! Motored up to about 12,000 then thermaled up to around 17,000 before heading into the mountains. Thermals were just OK for them that day climbing at about 800 feet a minute. Stunning place to fly as you can see from the photos.
