Slopeing on the south coast in Iceland

selleri:
My pleasure.

--- Quote from: "Happy Days" ---Icelandic roads look to be almost as good as County Wexford’s roads in Ireland. Great, provided you don’t have top drive on them.
--- End quote ---

Don't worry most of them are oil gravel with tarmac around the towns.

--- Quote from: "Happy Days" ---Oh, one thing I must ask you,…What does m,y,s mean, please? :?:  ( in English )
--- End quote ---

Meters above (average) sea level (ASL).

--- Quote from: "Fred" ---Sooooo... Boat trip to Iceland anyone?
--- End quote ---

Denmark - Iceland is the route you'll need to take.

If you do come over we'll check out my "dream" slope site, not sure if it's doable or not but it's close to where the ferry arrives.

Happy Days:
Hmmm,….. :?:  When is the best time of year to view the aurora borealis Sellieri?

(Kill two birds with one stone, me thinks 8) )

Road/Sea trip!!!

selleri:
Icelandair has been selling package deals runing from October to the end of April(a bit late if you ask me). Darkness wise I'd say March is the latest.
With the impending solar polar shift this winter should be pretty good aurora borealis wise!

The ferry is useless for that though, you'd need to fly in.

--- Quote ---The first departure to Iceland is on the 30th of March and last sailing from Iceland is on the 23rd of October.
