Happy Days:
I must say Kieran’s bald eagle looks very life like. It even has a twig in it’s mouth ready for some nest repairs. :P

And Wally’s Bird of Time seems to enjoy a spot of soaring too. I’m not sure what the third model is. Looks to have an all moving tail. Probably one of Fred’s favourites,………after all, it’s got air brakes!

hi keith,

it's the mpx flamingo contest from the mid 90's.  looks spectacular in a high banked turn with the black colour tipped with the day-glo orange and green.
i must see if i have a photo to show you.

Happy Days:
Yeah, I’ve looked up some pictures of the Flamingo, Ger.

In close up it’s very “Alpina-ish” isn’t it. Although the tailplane is mounted slightly higher, and it obviously has a different airfoil.

Good ol’ Multiplex! :D

gerryb:
some more photos...........

light winds from the north have been with us for some time, so floaters and electric models are the order of the day.this is george's middle phase, a very nice all-rounder especially for beginners, handles strong winds with ease.
