andrew wallace:

spent the day inserting a servo into the tailplane, the tail is 34inches long and this will make transporting it more easy

i've used a Corona CS-239HV thin metal wing servo

tailplane and elevator now need a good tidy up before covering  :D
fuselage is now ready to be primed and then rubbed down  :D

billscottni:
Getting there Andrew

mario:
good job

andrew wallace:
happy days it's that time of the year again, dark nights the heat's on in the shed and some wings to build  :D  :D

this is the center section of the skylark
ribs were cut by Cliff Evans form lazercutsailplanes.co.uk

Happy Days:
Hmmm, coming along nicely Andy. From what you've written I assume it's a three section wing, so does the centre section have any dihedral? Is it going to have flaps or air brakes?.......I don't know what the full size Skylarks used. Actually, according to my misses, I don't know much about anything. In fact,...... I used to own an encyclopaedia Britannica but I got rid of it it,.....my wife knows everything!

By the way, I must say I'm very impressed that you have your heating on already, (it's only September), you're obviously a rich man Andy. (Says the Keithy as he warms his hands over a single candle. :(  Brrrr..... )
