Daylight sensor is the name given to a photocell thingy that trips a relay when a certain amount of light is sensed, so usually they turn on the lights when it gets dark and turn them off when enough light returns.

Yeah, it got really dark didn’t it. (I noticed the street light didn’t come on in that sequence :?: ……maybe it didn’t use a light sensor switch! :lol: )

Here in southern Ireland it got darker during the transit but really, with the cloud cover here, it just seemed as though there was a thicker layer of cloud in the sky. The temperature reduced as well of course.

For us humans it wasn't dark enough to warrant any kind of street lights though the camera nearly went blind, which at those settings isn't that surprising.   ;)
