just finished the hinges and canopy catch
tried to copy full size as close as poss --and it works

I was going to suggest a piece of tape, but your way looks a bit more professional!  ::)

i will make a sliding window in canopy , and then can just push locked with finger
having said that , belt and braces with tape as well

finished the  canopy today and made yet another catch , this one works better
and is more scale like
and it all fits
