new kid on the block
kjblootens:
hi,
we've recently moved to Ireland (Dublin) from France and are all unpacked now. ready to prepare a few gliders now that the weather starts picking up.
thought I'd introduce myself and see where i could meet some fellow amateurs.
I saw that the sites discussions are quite old.
where is a man still allowed to fly these days?
can we still get by with 35MHz gear or is 2.4GHz obligatory?
Looking forward to getting out there again.
best
karel

Hi Karel,
Hopefully, the weather will cooperate!
And if you have nothing to fly with you, we'll sort you out :) (Mode 1 or 2?)
Phoenix Park I think they also fly on the Wednesday (but not sure, that was a while back!) I'm sure you saw this? :http://www.leinstermodelflyingclub.ie/

Hi Karel, I hope the weather here is not too much of a shock for you! Do you fly only gliders?
