I believe it is a Robbe Euro Trainer; can anyone provide any specifics on the model?

There is damage to one wing which can be seen in the picture, but that can be fixed.  I don't know when it was last flown, so I don't know what works and what doesn't.

My next questions will likely be related to converting it to electric (as long as that's not sacrilegious)  :-[

Keep it IC, just fly it. Less problems building a new model.
