joe:
Looking good Fred! Worth all that work in the end.

Fred:
Still moving !
Today, I finished the V Tail  :D

Covering is made with Diacov, and on the fixed part, with the technique explained here : http://www.gliderireland.net/covering.htm

And you can't really see it on the photos, but so far, 3 coats of clear varnish has been applied to the fuselage... Shinny !  :D

Wing sheeting in 0.4mm plywood is also started, photos later.

Fred:
A bit of work over the week end  :D
Back to the wings, and first, with the airbrakes.

Nothing to say really here, just have to study the plan and do some test fit first. No major issues.

Then, time to start the plywood sheeting of the wing. It's all made with 0.4mm plywood and glued with "impact" glue.
Easy job to do.

The plywood is in one piece, rolled over the LE. Smooth and clean finish !

After 1h30, everything is sanded smooth... You can see the ribs under the balsa and plywood. I think this is going to look really good once the colored varnish will be applied  :D

Et voila ! Tonight, the aileron articulation, and start to work on the second wing !
This glider should be finished by the end of the week now...  :D

Alan_Perse:
So test flight this weekend then Fred  :D  :D  :D . Look great  =P~  =P~  =P~  =P~  =P~

Fred:
Thanks Alan,

Maybe not this week end, but after, yes, all good !

Any progress on the Ka8 by the way ?  :D
