Fred:
And the Ka1 fly !  :D  :D
Ok, the first flight finished by a loooonnnnngggg walk of shame due to a CG way too forward (must listen to that little voice one day!) but after removing around 60grs, flew much better !
Plan is to remove another 100gr to be perfect !
So, the Ka1 is now less than 3Kgs (2900grs after the last bunch of lead is removed...)
Happy !  :D
Back to the Grunau now!

--- Quote from: "Fred" ---Hi Keith,

I use my usual mix of white glue and Cyano.
Because you have the best of both world  :D
Strenght with the white glue, fast with the CA.

Fred could you tell me more about your tremendous mix :
which Cyano do you use (liquid, medium...) ?
ratio of the 2 glues ?
...

Thanks
Claude

Fred:
Salut Claude,

very very easy  :D

It's not really a mix, but I put the white glue, and on top, I put a few drops of Cyano (medium for me, but works with any Cyano, just be careful not to touch the CA nozzle with the white glue. That do some sort of spaghetti thingy, pretty annoying to remove!) evry 2 or 3cms.

Like that, when you apply the pieces together, they hold together instantly (Cyano), but the final drying occurs when the white glue is fully cured.
The best of both worlds!  :D

Hope this is clear enough, but really, nothing mysterious  :D

Thanks Fred :
OK, that's what I did to cover the C-34 fuselage with plywood panels.
