First Outing To Tounntine Today

Yeah, June 13 and 14 for the MACI Glide in at tounntine. I am bringing the buns. :D

Lokking forward to it. We will try to make the 2 glide in at Mt leinster this year too. We really enjoyed the day out last year.

It looks like a good flying site. What's the landing area like?

 I love the S2G's. "One day" I must get myself one, they look like fun. (Mind you, I keep telling the wife that one day I'll do the washing up. But it hasn't happened yet :wink: )

As for flying with antenna's in the breeze; My Tx is on 2.4Ghz, so I've only got a very little one :oops: (Deduce what you will from that statement)

The Landing areas on tounn tine are pretty good. A couple of hidden dips here and there and the odd water hazzard. But overall its good. Lots of soft heather everywhere so you never really get a hard landing. The only wind direction that is bad on this hill is easterly.

Would love to fly it for ya, I had it with me at the Glide in on Mt leinster last year. Wind was too light for it. Better luck this year hopefully.
