Another day at the office?

joe:
Well that last bit sounds very positive. I would like to see you fly this in light to medium lift Keith as I'm sure it will be perfect for that. The S-15 is great for strong wings and maybe this is the model to get you into some more civilized gliding!
I think if you were to fly this model in thermal or lighter lift you might enjoy it.
Think of those nice long balmy summer evenings on the slope with a bottle of chardonnay or flagon of cider hehe

Happy Days:
Joe, if I drank a bottle of chardonnay or a falgon of cider, I'D be flying.........away with the fairys'

joe:
lightweight!!

Me too really

Happy Days:
So I took your advise Joe............

Went slopeing this morning in light conditions...........

But you forgot to tell me what I should do when, 400mtrs out from the slope with not much height, the wind drops.

I tried to run for home, but the model went out of sight (Below the ridge)..........

When I found it, it looked like this.............

So I blame you!( )

Fortunately the wings are okay and the fuse is made of wood. So with lots of CA glue and some epoxy this is what she looks like this afternoon.

The fuse snapped at a former, so no chance of putting a splint on the inside. I'm thinking of wrapping the outside of the break in a glass "bandage"

Anyone got a better idea?

Fred:
OOooooch !

Going to be a pain to find this blue again !  :P
