Ha!
here we are! Great, to find all the friends from Ireland at one place. The trip home was not to bad. Heidi and I arrived in Bremen on Tuesday at 12.00 hrs.
Thanks for all of You, who made Ireland such an unforgetable trip.
Regards
Lothar
Happy Days:
Well, hello Lothar :D
Very glad to know you & Heidi enjoyed yourselves in Ireland and we are looking forward to seeing you here again soon. We have a fly-in at Mount Lienster in the middle of September,.......bring your combat models with you! (I'll give you a good thrashing  )
Talking of combat flying,........... I was up on the west slope of Mt.L this morning, just unloading my car, when a tall gentleman with a German accent approached me.
On holiday in Ireland he knew he had missed Retroplane, but had the sense to bring a couple of small foamies with him to the Big L. anyway.
Andraus (Sorry about the spelling) and I spent the next three hours flying together :)
Instantly likeable he is also into combat flying, (Cleaver man!) and the time just flew by(sorry about the pun  )
The above picture shows him with his "own" version of a Zagi. He cut this aerofoil himself.
He has been flying rc for 10 years. Here is another of his models.....
The strange thing is Lothar, he knows you. You must be a very popular fellow!!!
He is hoping to come back to Mt.L. next week on his way home to Belgium so hopefully we will have another chance to fly together again.
Aint it strange who you meet on a slope in the middle of now where???

Yeah Keith,
You found Andreas from Bruxxels (or so). I've seen him the first time at the german Flying-wing-meeting this spring. it was in his holiday time. He's very good in aerodymic things.
There is only one thing which he surprises me, how long his holidays are. It seems to me he is always on holidays...
...the world is getting smaller and smaller....
The smaller plane is a "Frettchen". I have one of those in my basement. May be I built it for my next trip to Ireland.
If You meat him again, give him my regards.
Regards
Lothar

Hi Lothar
Guess you found your way back home again then. Maybe you are like you boomerangs and alway come back!! :D :D
Welcome to the forum.
Keith you are a friendly soul. Always meeting new people!
Happy Days:
It's my magnetic personality Joe!
Lothar,..........I'll let you into a little secrete about Andreas. The reason he has such long holidays is because for him, life is a holiday. Like me, he is retired.
I thoroughly recommend it to anyone! I have always belived that 'work' is a much overrated pastime
Keith.
