Happy Days:
Yes! .......are you up for the challange Joe?

We can't let these peasants from the west dent our honour

Or will I have to do battle on my own?

Come on Joe. Step up to the breach   (What's the matter,.....do you want to live forever???)

Fred:
I hope you have lots of photos of that one Dave...
For souvenir...  :P  :P

DaveMc:
Kieth,

I will invite Ger and his son Declan of course. We fly every wednesday evening on tounntine.

Open invitation to all there by the way.

Tomorrow night is the official shannon club gliding night so next wednesday will suit me and ger better. The shannon club meets every second wednesday on the hill you see.

I will say one thing for the foamies. This sniper is my first one. It cost me less than a round of pints. It flies great. And I look forward to bashing the hell out of it. It beats my €1000++ 4m fox any day of the week and this is why. If I divide the amount of flights I have had with the fox into the cost of getting it in the air the cost per flight is enormous....about €40/flight by my calcs... And 4 times out of 5 I do some small bit of damage every time I fly the fox. I also need a small pit crew to get the bloody thing launched. And then while flying it I am shaking at the knees.

Foamies are starting to look good... :?:

Hope to see you soon.

D.

Happy Days:
I absolutely agree with you Dave.

Large planes are easier to see at a distance, and (in my opinion) look more gracefull in flight, but in terms of cost effectiveness the smaller (less than 2mtrs) models are far superior. Easier to transport, easier to launch, and more agile in the air. All adds up to loads o' Fun :D  And that's what it's all about!

As for next Wednesday. Ger and Declan are very welcome, provided they bring something for me to use as target practice

Combat For Ever!!!

Keith

Happy Days:
The weather isn't looking too good for Wednesday.  Thursday is better, not only from a rain point of view, but also for wind direction.

Is Thursday any good for you Dave? :?:
