Funny enough, as far as I know, the Air Corps Fouga Magister were all Cognac base decommissionned ones !

My Grd mother house was a turning point for the airbase... They were flying very low over the house pretty much all day ! Then, Epsilon came in, and fly much higher now... (and in silence compared to the Fouga!)

Good thing is that we were always the first to see all the displays etc etc, training and formation runs always took place in front of the house  :D
Neighbourgs hated it... I loved it !  :D

The irish team were called the Silver Swallows! Four Magisters. Very easy to spot with the day-glow nose and tip tanks.

The Silver version is one of my favourite for the PAF
