Retroplane 2010... Let's get organized !
Alan_Perse:
I'm going too hopefully. But I won't be going with you guys. I will be flying over and staying in a hotel nearby. I have relatives that live an hour and half's drive away. I was thinking of shipping my glider over to them and collecting it.
joe:
As always I can't really say for sure if I'll be able to make it this far in advance. You can count me in for now.
That would be six from Ireland! Pretty feckin good I'd say

hi all,
with all the chat developing about retroplane 10 i decided to sign on the forum and add my tuppence worth. i intend travelling over with my wife lillian. we'll ferry to fishguard, take the tunnel to france and spend a few days working our way to der wasserkuppe. we'll travel by campervan and hope to arrive on site on thursday. i'll have 2 gliders...a slingsby prefect and a reiher. both models are about 3m span. hope to meet you lads before then though. hope santa brings lots of airplane goodies.

Hey Gerry ! Welcome to the forum ! :D
Ok, so you are doing your own thing to go to the Wasserkuppe ? :?:
John, Bill, will be good to join us to Retroplane :D But keep in mind that you need a post 1960 model to participate, but also, and most importantely, need to register to the event ! As of today, there are only a few spots left.
But just to go and fly at the Wasserkuppe before / after the event, totaly worth the trip anyway IMHO ! :D
Any other takers ?
As for the trip.. I guess that will depend how many are going to do the trip together :?:

Fred,
I'm working to complete my KA-3 and get registered (hopefully there will still be spaces!) Even if I don't get registered I still want to go.
Can we fly before and after the event? If we go via France we could fly at Cherbourg too.
