787 Dreamliner PSS

Hi Guys

Well, another PSS for next season, has just arrived today in the workshop, thanks to Richard. The model is the PSS version of the Windrider Boeing 787 Dreamliner, an all foam quick build airliner rc model.



Wing span: 1.65m

I will update this build along with the other b57 build soon! Here are a few pics after 10 mins out of the box!!

Oh, a very neat job John. What livery will you put it in?
Aren’t you tempted to fit a couple of ducted fans in it,……just to see what happens! :twisted:

Incidentally, I noticed there’s a plate on the wall of your garage/workshop with the word John on it. Is that in case you forget who you are? :lol:  :lol:

Well I started building the 787 today, with the wings. I have added flaps which are not shown on the plan, for slower landings. I may add a split flap system like on the full size aircraft :?: need to think adout it. I have also added carbon rods to the outer part of the wings and lined the control surfaces with balsa, this will make the wing stronger, yet will still allow the wing to flex like the full size 787 wing in flight.
