Jeti radios... It's official!

Fred:
Hey Keith,

Might have some good news for you on the receiver front !  :D
We might sell the FrSky stuff (very good communication with those guys! And they are even doing a module to fit the European style radios, like the 3030, MC18 etc at my request     ).. Anyway, good news is that they are doing Futaba Fasst compatible receivers for cheap. Have 9ch and they go up to 14ch RX. And so far, test are really good!

Doing a market study with them at the moment, I'll come back to you on prices etc if you (and others) are interrested in the Fasst stuff.  :D

Happy Days:
Excellent news, :D  although I’m a little supprised. :o

I would have thought Futaba would have put some kind of coding in their transmitted signal to stop other’s trying to “muscle” in on their product range.
You say FrSky are going to make FASST receivers,………will their rx’s be able to bind with the coding from a Futaba Tx? If they can, then Futaba rx’s are heading for a nose dive in price

K.

Fred:
Hey Keith,

Yes, they are binding fine and so far, everything is working great.
You can find a long thread on RCGroups about this system  :D

What's the conversion like for the Multiplex 3030?
Does it allow you to switch between 2.4 & 35 easily?

Fred:
Hi Bill,

Top secret so far  :P  Still working on it!
But that will be a module, so easy to swap.
Aternatively, there will be a DIY module that will fit, with telemetry!
A 3 way switch will allow you to swap between 35 and 2.4ghz...
But we'll see, I think they need another month of work to have a prototype done, so fingers crossed, but already, the DIY system is looking good  :D
I'm also waiting for photos of the "box", where the telemetry infos are displayed.
