andrew wallace:

this is the work done so far finally got the rudder made it took a bit of a hand out of me  :!:

hoping this week to get the elevator done this is the lazor cut parts for it all i have to make is the leading edge which is made out of 1/2 balsa

JohnPearson:
looking good Andrew! I like the jig idea, must make up one when I get time.

andrew wallace:

elevator now made i have a bit of sanding to do  rounding the leading edge

before i start the wings i have a good bit of work to do to the fuselage, i'm going to first fix the tail plane on and set the incidence, i've already done a bit of work round where the canopy will go and where the cockpit will start

i'm always thinking ahead :!:

i've never built a set of wings with washout before so i'm looking for advice here, you can see from the drawings at the root it's set at 0mm and at rib 14 it's set at 3mm and at rib 27 it's set at 9mm
is there an easy way to build the wing getting the trailing edge straight :?:
