Anyone for flying this weekend (26/27 Feb)
Richard Boyd:
Just in from a brilliant afternoon at moneymore.
Just John and myself made it !
The other 2 are saving themselves for Mount Leinster!
Winds were 20mph plus !!!!!!!!!!
Amazing lift on the North West slope
Only got a few snaps as flying came first.
Here is my old mate JP , what a laugh we had.

Happy Days:
Good to see it Richard. Thanks for the picies (Such a good looking pair of dudes - :?: )
Not sure what BB (Big Bill) and Andrew think they are saving themselves for????? Surely, practise makes perfect, doesn’t it?
I also had a good time. Sorry no picies, it’s hard to photograph and fly. The wind was slightly more westerly down here, straight onto the slope at between 30 and 50 Km/h over the two to three hours I was there.
Phase 6, Whisper (2 mtr mouldy) with full ballast, and a 4 mtr ASW all had an aerial view of Big L. today.
A bit chilly up there, I could really feel the difference when the sun went behind the clouds that kept passing by, but that’s all part of the fun.
If the wind stays like this I might even venture up there again tomorrow for a while.
Anyway, glad to see someone’s getting some flying in lads. (I think those guys in the West are still in hibernation. WAKEY WAKEY! Is there any life west of Tipperary? )

Hi Keith,
I had some work done on my back midweek and could barely make the end of the garden path, let alone jump around on hills. :(
I have been out this year though an dif the weather permits hope to be out next week before Big L :D
Happy Days:
Glad you’ve made it out a bit this year Bill. You’ve been having a bit of a hard time haven’t you, knee, back, Ex wives.
Lets hope 2011 has something better for you :)
Keith
