Fergal Gordon:
Hi Everyone,

The Fly In at Mount Leinster last weekend has wetted by appetite again for slope soaring in the coming season.  A few of us are planing to go up to Lacken on Sunday if the weather holds up.  The forecast is for 21 km/h SW winds, so it should be nice.  Looking forward to getting out on the slopes again.

Best regards,

Fergal

joe:

Hi Everyone,

We had a really nice days flying two weeks ago.  Even Pawel managed to get there, even though he only arrived in Dublin at 12:00 form Spain.  And even better, everyone went home with no major repairs.

Anyway, I am hoping to get out to Lacken tomorrow afternoon, weather permitting.  The rain is supposed to clear in the afternoon and the is forecast at 35 km/h SW.  It could make for some interesting flying.  Let's hope the rain hold off.

Best regards,

Fergal

Hi Everyone,

An abrupt change of plan for me.  I just took the Tx off charge and discovered one the joy stick modules has been completely knocked off its mountings.  Two the the three bosses, with the threaded holes, have been sheared off and third one does not look too secure. :-(

I now have to find where I can get a Multiplex Tx repaired.  It would have to happen at the start of the season.  I was planning of converting the Tx to 2.4 GHz, but I was going to hang off until the autumn.

Anyway, Pawel says he will be at Lacken tomorrow.  It will probably be the best days flying of the year.  Enjoy.

Best regards,

Fergal
