Hi all,
Anybody planning to fly in Killakee tomorrow? Looks like westerlies and will be good to catch up :)
-
Hi Fred,
Westerly yes - but maybe too much wind. In any case, yes, seeing you are asking, I will be there from 14:15 or thereabouts. I better charge the batteries.............

Hey Jim,
Sounds windy alright so we’ll see, but that should at least remove all the cobwebs :)
See you tomorrow :)
-
Fred, I’m free all next weekend if you are about?
-
Well, it's was good to catch up with all of you :)
Ceiling was very low so no flying, but good chat and catch up :)
@Ralph: I have a daughter thing next Saturday, looks like will be all morning, but already looking at the forecast :)
-
Finally!! :)
Good to catch up with the guys, and remove that pile of dust from the glider (and the pilot!)
Fingers crossed for next weekend! :)

Rrrhhhaaaaaa!! Another great day at the slope with Alan, Jim and Peter. North one with little to no wind. But it was great!
First flight for my chocolat’in, no issues :)
-
Yes - that was a great afternoon's flying.

Anyone flying this weekend?
I believe that my Phoenix 2000 should be ready by this weekend for it's maiden flight, but I do not trust myself to fly it alone. ;D
The wind should be a mild 8 - 9 knots northerly...

Sorry Sandi,
heading away next week so I am not around. You might give me a shout when your card arrives. Good luck

Well, I ended up not going as I decided to do yet another mod on the tail of the glider.
Just received my MACI membership card, so I am now insured, so will be doing the maiden with peace of mind in that regard.
Still need to receive the IAA sticker.....
