Wanted for a new friend of mine, :) …….entry level 2.4gHz Tx.
Min 4chnl. Must have expo and preferably dual rates.
His wife says he can only spend 100 quid on it. (She’s a hard woman, to be sure! )

Hey Keith,
I have what you are looking for! :D
I have a brand new HXT9x transmitter, with all the options (with Lipo battery) and a few receivers.
Only tested on the Easyglider for range etc, and never used since!
Let me know if interrested, I'll take some photos :D

ER,...I don't know the HXT9x transmitter :?: What make is it Fred?

Is it mode 2 Fred?
Seems very good value for money. BTW does it have expo as well?
Before you go to the trouble of taking pictures I’ll pass on your info.
The friend I’m taking about is named Keith! I told him the model flying scene in Ireland isn’t big enough for two pilots called Keith  , but he pointed out that, at the moment, he isn’t a pilot!
So far he’s only shown interest in powered flight with the MCFC, but I’ll ‘work on him’ and maybe, just maybe, he’ll come over to the civilized side of model flight.

Hi Keith,
Here is the manual (Imax), in PDF (24Mb)

The Official manual :

Everything about the upgrade to the ER9x : http://code.google.com/p/er9x/
You have much much more on RCGroups, with links to pre-programmed boards (about 40 euros on top of my head) if you want to go this way. Pretty impressives features with the ER9x (and other open source codes for this radio).
