Hiya David
I will probably try to get out tomorrow to Mt Leinster. Had to choose between today or tomorrow. Looks like it might be a little better down here tomorrow

Yea, I'll drink to that!

Any idea what time lads? I'm normaly up by about 05.30, or maybe 06.00 as it's a Sunday.

Joe will probably be nursing a hangover so I doubt we'll see him till the afternoon

Hi Joe / lads,
Might be able to make it tomorrow but was thinking of something closer to Dublin. What time do you think you will be at Mt Leinster?

cheers

I have matters of a equine nature to attend to first thing. The wife wants to ride on the beach, (the horse not me!) but she can't drive our old Landy, so I'll have to take her and the horse. :(

I'd hope to be at Big L (Mt. Leinster) by about 1pm. :D

Hi there,

Westerly wind tomorrow  :?:  Not sure I will have enough time tomorrow to go to Mt Leinster  :!:
Shame, need to visit the campsite for Retroplane... And don't forget that we have the ISR fly-in in 2 weeks in Mt Leinster !!  :D

Dublin should be OK for me for a little while...
Who is going to Kilakee ?

Hey, I hope you guys have all got your M.A.C.I. registration numbers on your models, after all the work Garry did on establishing insurance cover!

(Anyone got a marker pen I could borrow  )

If we meet at the Kilakee west slope out past the Hellfire and then drive on from there to SW slope at Laragh.

Really enjoyed flying today. Good to meet some newcomers, Faun, Antonio and Patrick. Winds were a bit challenging at times but think everyone got in some good flying.

Fred, the Algebra was a superb flyer, impressive.    Not sure if I can manage to build it but if you have the plans to look at I'll think about as project over the winter. :D

cheers

Looks like it was a good day - I was tempted but had already cashed in my glider tokens.  Took a look at the weather forecast mid-week and decided Friday was the best day - so spent a couple of hours at Kilakee on Friday afternoon.  Wind oblique from NW but lift improved through the afternoon - great flying.  Peace and quiet only disturbed intermittently by a power flyer!! Hope to see everyone at Mount Leinster next month - or closer to Dublin next weekend if the weather allows.
