Okay settle down now everyone. Plan is weather dependent. Light easterlies or westerlies mean aerotowing from the flat field or winching up to 4 M max.

SW to West is the slope at Kinsale, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Head_of_Kinsale 25-30 min drive from my house (10 for Mario!, aint that right Ger)

Anything with North in it we travel to Millstreet 1 hour drive. A good hillwalk here but fantastic views and a great set of slopes.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millstreet

Another alternative is Mweelin, dont bother looking for it on a map, we had it removed form by the OSI to keep the location secret from hang gliders and the like, SW SE S and NE

I am on hols so flying thurs, fri, sat and sun weather permitting

Give me a shout if I can answer any more questions

Digs,

Hey Justin,

Making up a plan right now. Looks like we are going to Kinsale, as the wind us supposed to turn SW later. PM me your mobile, and I can text you.
Everybody else can do the same or contact Ralph directly for directions etc etc :)

Keith, good flying si far, mainly at the field with aerotows for a change :)

Ralph;s phone haven't stopped ringing this morning :)
Stay tuned for more :)

Had a good time flying off the old head of Kinsale while the mist stayed away (and while it was in), was nice to meet all the local pilots too. Looking forward to the next time.

Another very good year for the Cork Glide in. Even with the poor miserable weather we had on the Saturday, great turn out, and lots of flying was done! Hardcore slope soaring if you ask me!

Many thanks again to Ralph for the hospitality (and patience!   ), and also to the local club members present over the week for the warm welcome, and for doing everything possible for us to enjoy our stay. Great club spirit, and very warm people!

I wrote a short story, with lots of photos (apparently, there are already a bunch on BookFace for the ones on this social media thing (mine is called slope soaring  :P  :P  - private joke - )
