Title: Mibo Swift S1 restoration
Post by: rogallo on November 27, 2023, 19:23:21 PM: Well a long time coming. My 20+year old Mibo Swift is in for a good cleanup. Hopefully I will get some inspiration and encouragement here.
Started by stripping the wings to recover. I hate this job....

yep I am using the heat gun to help remove the film. Any tips on removing the remaining bits, tried sanding but to no avail.

If it is I've heard it's possible to arm it up and once it's warm rub kitchen roll on it and then take the whole lot off in one go. Never tried it. Think I'd be more likely to use the heat gun and a scraper.

For the graphics, I don’t think I kept it
It was an easy one to do, just a basic scan of the logo and mirror the other side if I remember.
I’ll have a look in my files
