Opening of the box on Saturday :D Stay tuned! :D
-
NO! I can’t wait till Saturday, (I might be dead by then) I need to know what’s in the box NOW!
Please tell me Fred, I’ll always be your friend, I promise not to make horrid remarks about you, I’ll kiss your feet……….( do I really mean that?)
You know what they say Fred, “don’t put off till Saturday what you can do today!”…….
“a stitch in time, saves nine,”…….
“an apple a day, keeps the doctor away,” ….
“salt your water once a quarter,”
Oh please, please, please tell me what’s in the box! I won’t be able to sleep untill I know :!:

:P :P It's a big glider! :P
NOT!
Ok, let's say that will allow me to do big gliders easily! :D
-
I now
You got me drunk to get the information !
-
\:D/ :-({|=
-
I'd tell you Keith..................................... But then I'd have to KILL you
-
FRED! I think you had better let Tina out of that box,she will suffocate before Saturday.
John.
-
  Yeah, made us laugh when we saw that on the box!
Go explain that to the forklift guy!
-
I think you are all horrid to me.
I’m not talking to any of you again.
Good Night!
-
Night night Keith
-
Can't believe the day is almost here. So you have to wait until friday to go and open it!? That is torture!
Congratulations.

-
nice one fred, hope you have a great time with it!!!!

Congratulations.
Yep, finally! Talking about one for a few years, and now, it's in the garage!
Saturday, going to be christmas!
I'll post photos etc :D
nice one fred, hope you have a great time with it!!!!
Hey Ger, thanks, I'll try to have some good time with Tina
-
hey fred, just realised, where we fly is called toun tina, i wonder if they are related??
mmm......a big box, have you transported the top of our hill for your own indoor slope site?
all you'd need is a good size fan and you'd be flying in the garage. ultra mini quarks, algebras, asw 1.5's. very interesting!!!!
the thick plottens!!!
-
Have you guessed what it is yet Keith? :?:
-
No I bloody haven’t!
Boxes? containing Tina’s?? inside a garage ??? :!: What on earth are you all going on about?
Anyway, I’m not talking to you guys anymore. You know how much I hate being left out of a secret! :(
OH! But now I AM talking to you. :x
I think you are all horrid and I’m contacting my solicitor today to change my Will so none of you will receive anything when I’m gone…..So there!
K.
-
Oh I know I know :D :D :D
-
Sooo.. Does that mean only Keith don't know?? O:)
The worse thing, is that I'm sure you were around when I mentionned the Big Box in our conversation...
I feel sad, you are not listening to me!
-
Oh, but I do! I do! :)
I listen to your every word, I hang on your every syllable, (when you speak English). Your every burp! (Too many hot dogs?)
Just tell me what’s in the fecking box!!!
K.
-
language keith, language!! there may be innocent young model flyers like me hanging on your every word. i'd hate to see you toppled off your lofty perch just because you feel left out of the most open secret of 2012.
think about it man, think!!!!!!!
-
I’m thinking, I’m thinking, but it makes my brain hurt,……(what little there is left of it.)
I can only assume it’s a container of a large amount of balsa. But a container of that size would last forever!
Fred said “Ok, let's say that will allow me to do big gliders easily!”
So I’m thinking,….. large single pieces of wood, instead of having to join short lengths,. Thereby making big gliders easier...?
Am I on the right path Ger???
-
No... Or maybe yes... That depend, maybe :P
-
there's your answer keith, just that. now you know. we can all sleep easy again.
-
Dare I say it, if Keith was around for more of the weekend, he too would have been intimate with Tinas details! :)
-
By the way Fred you can get them uninflated, would save you a lot of space.
John.
-
Ar---Hu! :D
Tina’s…
Inflated…
Now I understand……. You old perv’ Fred. :P
Er,…..are they standard inflatable dolls, or the deluxe versions with real pubic hair? 8)
 Ooops! Not that I know anything of such matters, you understand. I’ve just been told there are different types.
K.
-
Hi Fred, really really pleased Tina has arrived safe and well, I am sure when Saturday comes you will spend most of the day stroking her and maybe a little slap and tickle :D
-
Her??? in the singular? :?
Do you mean there is only ONE doll in that box?
I know some men like big women, but to have to off load her with a fork truck! :o
It must be like making love to a Jacuzzi!!! :?
Oh well. Not my choice of erotica :?: ,……but, "whatever floats your boat!" Fred
K.
-
I think Tina has a few attachment , just lets say she is James Bond type of female :P
-
YES A BIG DOLL

-
I’ve just come off the phone to my sister in England. She’s a retired psychiatrist.
I happened to mention about Fred and his ’New Arrival’. I told her how big Tina was, and that she came with ‘Attachments.’
My sister was amazed. She said that in 40 years of practice she'd never come across a case like it. She thought Fred is probably suffering from Extreme Sexual Compulsive Masochistic Tendencies, and that he is definitely a “Suitable case for treatment.”
She suggested he might benefit from counselling, but doubted he could ever be fully cured without chemical castration
I do hope he shows me how to finish my Mu28 wings before the men in white coats cart him off to the funny farm!
K.
(It's such a shame. He always seemed such a sensible fellow. I think I might have to give this hobby up in case it does the same thing to ME)
-
Awsome,
can you cut me one these Fred. A bit of helium and she fly like a dream.
John.
-
And I am the weirdo here? :P :P
-
Aren't you the weirdo everywhere? :P
-
wanna tell you a story
about a woman i know
when it comes to love
oh she steals the show
she aint exactly pretty
she ainat exactly small
42 39 56
you can say she's got it all
she's a whole lotta woman
she's a whole lotta ROSIE :D
-
Showing your "aging rocker" side Andrew!!
Mind you, I recognised the lyrics at line 2!!!
-
AAhhh AC/DC :D
Alright, Tina is out of the box!
And she is way bigger than planned!! (seems that I have been upgraded :D )
Final preparations and first test in about an hour...
I keep you posted :D
Keith, Patience! :D
-
Remember safety first!! She's been through a lot of hands on her journey to you!
-
Well, still alive with all my fingers and eyes! \:D/
All good, just have to adjust the output power depending of the materials, and that's it :D
No photos, sorry, forgot my camera cable at home! Tomorrow!
So Keith, found out what it is yet? :D
-
All good, just have to adjust the output power depending of the materials, and that's it :D
OH,...I get it! You've got the super delux model with battery powered vibrator
My word, you've certainly pushed the boat out for this one Fred!
K.
-
They are not vibrators!!
They are face massagers!
-
let there be rock

Well, still alive with all my fingers and eyes! \:D/

:D
mmm, just a strange thought occurred to me, would she be able to work for foreigners too?
(I'm sure you ordered the special version with (Irish) green lights, but she might be able to shine her burning light on other parts too?)
Sort of like 'rent a las ' (things are getting dodgy now, better watch what I say)
Ah well, dream on, I'll have to make do with my own noisy version for now ;-)
-
come on Fred
i'm waitin to see some photo's of Tina in the flesh :D
do you need a hand undressing her :P

Yeah, we are not really speaking the same language for sure sometimes!
Anyway, played with Tina today :D
Getting there, just the mirrors to adjust, but fired up the laser, and made my first engraving :D
50% power, and that thing cut plywood (4mm) like it's butter!
only disappointing thing, is that when you fire the laser, that don't make any of the Star Wars sound!! (it's silent  )
Ah well...
So, what's in the box?
That :
240Kgs of machinery that can set a fire in your house in second :D
For the ones interrested, I have photos of how it works, pretty interresting.
First engraving :
Done in roughly 40 seconds, and I was not full speed :D (the wingspan is 30cm).
Next Saturday, I should do my first cuts and complete the power / material list / test.
Happy days! :D
-
Verry nice Fred, and compact too,
I get laser cut forms made for die cutting paper & board and I have been told the laser does not like some types of glues used in the manufacture of some plywoods and can cause fires.
Have fun,
John.
-
Hi again Fred,
Maybe this article might be of interest.

looks good :D
-
Vador's one is much, much smaller!

Hi John,
Yeah, this is especialy true for exterior plywood.
But I have a very good air extractor system (this is an industrial machine!)
Thanks for the link too.
-
Vador's one is much, much smaller!
Well actually, the laser tube is quiet cool! And portable!
The stuff that is around, that's the pain! (air system, water cooler, air extractor, controller...)
So Star Wars is actually a fiction?! :?:
-
Ah! but Dart had his personal breathing apparatus and perhaps burnt flesh is not so toxic. Like barbecued pork. Use the forks Luke.
-
So Star Wars is actually a fiction?! :?:
Maybe not Fred, in a Galaxy far far away it may be fact :) :) :);)
-
Ok, final setup of the machine done, and first cuts made!
All ready to go :D
The mirror alignment was much easier than anticipated! You use scraps of paper and a "target" on the focus lens. Remove the machine safety to fire the laser in open air.
Quiet cool to burn those piece of paper to mark the target :D
Anyway, after a few test in different materials, time to do the first cut and presto :
All the parts for my ASH25 wing joiner system / ribs (in 4mm plywood)
And the micro mini Quark :P
In 3mm plywood, and in balsa
(http://www.gliderireland.net/forum/images/uploads/Fred/P1060847.JPG)
So that's it, the setup is done, and so far, I am very impressed withis piece of machinery. Lots of wood on order.
This close this chapter, time to open a new one! :D
-

good stuff Fred
-
Yeah, nice job, Darth! :D
-
Lovely lovely work Fred !
-
au boulot
-
Whaaa !

Talking a bout the colour pf the edge, I'm happy, as this is not dark (black) but light brown, meaning that the machine / power is setup perfectly as the wood is only very lightly burn :D
Anyway, thank you all. I am now waiting for the wood, and I get started on the Quarks (I have around 50 pre-ordered! )
After that, time to cut a few vintage gliders prototypes :D
-
time to cut a few vintage gliders prototypes :D
Have you been holding out on us Fred. What are they? Go on, give use a hint :D :D :D
-
Ok, I bring that one up, as I found a video of the machine cutting plywood.
If you really are interrested in that sort of things!
Power : 60%
Speed : 40
Wood : 3m Plywood
You can see o the second part of the video what happen when you don't do polylines! That double the cutting time!
Raw video, as I am lazy! And thanks for my little helper :D

That's a cool machine Fred :-)
-
c est de la bombe mon fred,
je vais acheter les 2 bouteilles et les expedier rapidos,
:?: tu recrutes jeune ton personnel
-
-
Nice one Fred, you really do take this to the next level.
Well done
D
-
Lasers?
You ain't seen nuffin yet...
"...the system sliced through a 15mm- (~0.6 inches) thick steel girder from a kilometer away."

-
Quite amazing how they do it. How do they focus the beam at such a distance? :!:
Raises the old question, is light a wave form or particles? :?:
(Hmmm, E=MC squared, take away Schrödinger’s Cat & the number you first thought of Zzzzzzzzzz :? )
Keith

Last thing I heard, it depends how you look at it.
Errr.... Maybe not in this case :x
