Hi Fred.
There appears to be something wrong with the avitars, I think. I can't upload any and the one I had before has disappeared.

Yup, Alan, yours is gone.  I had never suceeded in uploading one ever!

HI guys,
so checked your profile... all is ok.
for the avatar, you can choose one from the site on your profile, upload one from your machine, or put a weblink to an avatar>
if you put a weblink, if the image is deleted or the website where your image is hosted unavailable (or address changed), the image willl not be available anymore.

Alan, I've put back the avatar I rememeber you had. You can change it or upload your own in your profile.

Chris, same thing, you can update your profile to add your avatar.
Let me know if you have a problem, or send me the image you want and i'll do it for you  :D(http://www.gliderireland.net/forum/images/uploads/Fred/woodf3f.jpg)

Ok,  let me know.

Note that there is an image size limitation for the avatars.. As far as I remember, the size should be no more than 80x80 pixels...

I've tried to upload an image from my machine but I get this error.

Hello everyone,
I tried too, and I had the same error message, now I  have no avatar :cry:
perhaps problem of permission? chmod 777 directory avatar?
