Title: Foam repairs
Post by: stephen.shannon on August 12, 2013, 23:35:07 PM
Hi all,

Just looking for some pointers to get a beaten wing leading edge to straighten? Big Keith was saying you can use steam or heat but just wanted to get. Step by step guide to making the repairs.

Thanks

Stephen

Smart Keith is right  :D
Boiling water gives good results, but be aware that the foam will come back up to a certain point (we are talking about EPP right?)

Well the steam works great, it does fix most issues with beaten up wing edges but alas,..... can't fix holes unfortunately.

No, but Gorilla glue can. Squirt some in the hole, then just sand it down after it’s cured. :D
