What an invigorating video! :D
 
I love the shot of the plane circling, close to the ground,  around the pilot.
Makes me feel like gathering up all my models and striking out to the foothills of the Pyrenees, or Alps, or wherever that vid was filmed.
(Now, where did I leave my passport? :?: )

Ron...  You mist a good day on sunday (20/3/11)
Went with peter to the old head near Kinsale , Had my first go at slope soaring :D  ,loved it...

Hi Sean,

Looks like you had a good day.
Here it was not good weather for flying at all, so did 'other jobs'  :(

I've never known exactly where people fly on the Old Head, but pinned it down on Google earth from a few frame grabs from your video.

Looks like you had some mist though.
Lucky you weren't flying fpv 'cos you wouldn't have got down in one piece with the mist on the lens.

I must get the Easy Glider going again.
I keep pinching things out of it, like the receiver  :lol:

easy to find...
set satnav for Lispatrick... few mile's up the road from there is the flying site,before you get to the old castle....you cann't get lost as there's only one road aroung the old head of kinsale...

 Take off on the right side if the road on the slope, land in the field behind you...
