Have I missed a post elsewhere about items for the 'bring and buy' this year?
I was happy to get rid of find a new home for some stuff last year. I have a perfectly good set of 4 servo wings (c/w joiner) for a Purbeck Sailplanes Grafitti. The fuselage is a different story, it is beyond repair but I still have the bits. I have always intended to make a new fuselage - but, let's face it - I probably won't. The model is (was) a 2.9m F3F type with T tail. It was a fast flier and far more aerobatic than me and definitely not a model for scratching around in light conditions - which is when I broke it. Flaps / ailerons / snapflap / crow braking - I think they called it Quadro - everything you could want from a 4 servo wing.
There are 4 good Hitec metal gear servos in the wings. Anyone interested?

Hi Jim,
Sorry, no, haven't started anything about the bring and buy stuff :-[ You're the first :)
God, a Graffiti! A true classic! Would love to buy it, but unfortunately, I don't have time to re-do a fuselage :( (My projects are pilling up in the workshop enough already :( )
That remind me, I need to go through my stuff, need space! :-[

Alright! We have never been closer to the first meeting of the year! :)
Remember, we will have an ISR club "AGM" on the slope to discuss new proposal, and membership rule changes!
We will also discuss A & B glider certs, flying site registration etc etc. Oh, and do some flying also while we are at it (light ish winds... So far!)
-
I have a wraith glider kit for sale. I'll bring a few bits and bobs also. Anyone looking for anything in particular?
Ralph
-
Yeah, but you wouldn't have what I'm looking for :-\
Anyway, who's coming this weekend?
Keith

Hi Keith,
I plan to be there on Saturday. Looking forward to a flight - haven't flown since December.
JIM
PS to Fred, I see you hope to talk about flying sites - I will send you an E mail in a few minutes with a few comments on the subject. I have been in contact with the secretary and hope to join the club at the weekend.
-
So there is to be just 4 of us tomorrow, yes?..... Ralph, Fred, Jim and myself. Oh well, the AGM shouldn't last too long then ;)

I concur! :P
Alright, many to all for coming! We can say that this was a very nice opening of the forthcoming flying season, and the first glider meeting of the year was a success!
It was good to be back on top of a mountain flying some RC toys!
Saturday saw some good strong winds, and with about 16 pilots, was great day of flying!
Sunday was dead calm! About 7 pilots worked on their slow thermaling skills! I did few walks of shame, but very pleased of my day, so as everybody else flying :)
Anyway, here are a few photos. I'll put more tomorrow!
