I can't guarantee anything... I'll be over in the far West of Kerry that weekend and it'd be a 2.5 hour trip to Crossbarry. I'll check it out.

So far, it's a no go for me :(
The muppets still haven't fixed my car! Still going in safety when I reach 90km/h  >:( >:(

Anybody knows a mechanic in Dublin south?

my car (ford s-max) did that on me fred, going into limp mode.  turned out it was a fuel injection (diesel) problem. have you checked that out?

Not yet.
The problem with mechanics these days, is that they plug the computer to the car, and whatever comes out, is the problem in their view.. But the sensors might get false information from another part of the car  >:(

They changed the MAF and EGR, but I asked them to check the vaccum pipe and the rod thing that goes to the turbo / vaccum as this is the most common issues on the VW engines apparently...

Fingers crossed, but start to be fed up at this stage  :'(

Hi Ralph,
Cork is a big county.......
Mitchelstown is just over 200k but Goleen is nearer 400! A bit far for a day trip but  I might overnight. Need to know where however.

Update..... forecast for next Sat is westerlies in the region of 25 kph. This suggests Kinsale and heavyweight models. Flat landing fields behind the slope.

Looking good

Many thanks to Ralph for organizing the Glide In this week end.
Despite a not so good weather, we had good fun, great laughs, and the usual banter!
I'll post some photos soon :)

A big thankyou to Ralph for a great weekend. I did get a good few flights on Sunday morning in 38km/hr wind speed of the point with the Fouga and the micro Lunak, which is now my top fun model to fly.
