I intend to make the 25 minute drive... I'm spoiled, but I hardly got up the Big L last year...  :(

I might have a try at the Cert exam :-\, but I get very nervous :(. I'll have a go if someone will hold my gland :-[ ! Sorry,..... that should have read "If someone will hold my hand."

I try to find the mark sheets (can't find them on the new MACI website yet) and print a bunch.

We will do another A&B sessions in April :)

So here is the Mighty Mountain herself still snoozing under an upper layer blanket. I can't hear her snoring so she might be about to wake up. (Not the best picture I know, but she is some 25 miles away)

Wind speed at my location is absolute Zero at the moment ???

Temp: 7.8 C

Humidity: 81%

Come on then Lads, 'sound off'...who's going up there today.

I'll be up there around 11, Big Keith is also threatening to join us today.............

While there wasn't enough lift to keep it aloft, the Skylark does fly (with a chuck from Ralph)...

And you repaired that little Robbe to airworthiness. Quite the successful model builder aren't you!!! :)

Should have been there yesterday, more than enough lift then. ;)

Hi all  :)

Finally managed to get some sleep and look through all the photos.
First of all, many thanks again for all the pilots traveling from all over the country! Another successful event with 17 pilots on the Saturday, and 15 on the Sunday.
The weather Gods were with us, as early in the season, we could have expected a wash out, but we got none of that! Saturday was warm, with some very nice sunny spells, but no wind.. Or very little! It was a day for electrics, or the gas bags! Everybody flew all day, and all that with the usual craic!
Sunday was the total opposite, with lots of wind, and 2 showers! With some good sunny spells, and the weather getting way better as the day progressed, and again, lots and lots of flying done!
So, a very good weekend, and nice to remove all the dust and cobwebs!
Below are a bunch of photos (will put more on the website, stay tuned!). One of the highlights for me, was Joe's first flight of his Ka8! Can't really describe the craftsmanship of his cockpit interior, it has to be seen!  :-* :-* :-*  His knees were shaking like crazy, but all went well, and this machine looks really really nice in the air!  :-*

Anyway, enough words from me, place to a few pictures!

Remember our next meeting is on the 8-9th of April, with French visitors (get the aspirin stocked up!  ;) ::) )

What a great Sunday. Still fixing everything I broke, and that was everything I attempted to fly. My poor favourite little middle phase and the effin road (she will fly again). Hey Ralph, like the little Kawasaki, will fly soon.
