first my stargazer met a hump ...
and now my pride :) went down ...

That was hard look Dennis.
Any work done on repairing the Stargazer, or is that the plan?
I am in the same situation myself.
My own fault though. On landing I flew it into the rotor on the lee side of the ridge. Thought it was far enough downwind to be in the clear.
Boy did it drop.
The impact took place out of sight.

huh :( sorry to see that.
my stargazer is rather in good shape now - just need to figure out how to "bolt" wing to the fus (small "hook" at LE chipped off).

That happened to mine at one stage.
I drilled out a small section where the spud(hook) had been and epoxied a piece of plywood in to replace it.
