Hi Andrew, good to see you back on the forum. Capstan looks to be a fine model, best of luck with the rebuild. I was wondering, how far into the wing does the joiner go and how well is it fixed to the ribs/spar? Might be worth opening up the sheeting to have a look. Hope it goes well for you. Great day’s gliding on Tountinna, thanks to everyone who travelled and took part. The day started out with low cloud preventing any flying, but by about 1pm the cloud lifted and we had a fantastic afternoon of thermal soaring on the slope. Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon. Some photos, maybe others have more.....

Finally, the strut mount. Didn’t work out quite as I planned so I had to ‘modify’ it to make it fit. All’s well in the end....

Looks good, so glue it up. I used 30 min epoxy and a mix of saw dust added....

Tailplane mounts glued in....
