Slope Sites in Ireland / Co. Waterford, Comeragh Flying site

Below is a nice slope for SSW winds, the other side of this slope has a NE facing slope also, can be a little turbulent though.

Not the highest but if you get >15mph winds there's fun to be had, and plenty landing space on soft surface.

Slope Soaring / Re: Airtech Pixel CG?

I know it's a bit down the road now, but i finally got the Pixel in the air! Got distracted throughout winter with other projects and I'm sorry I waited so long. Love the Pixel, bit tricky to land if you don't have a good lee side but here a bit of footage...

Slope Soaring / Airtech Pixel CG?
« on: May 27, 2016, 23:20:25 PM »
Hi Guys,

Just wondering of anyone has come across the airtech pixel, a french model apparently. I bought it second hand and the previous owner hadn't flown it - anyway I'm wondering about the CG and where it should be?

It's a pitcheron and with no experience with these beasts i'm unsure how it would handle a bad CG :/

Cheers,

Nicky.
