Over the course of the build I've been wondering if Fred had made an erreur but turns out he got it right, shame on me for doubting you mate!

The covering will need something to adhere to around the strut attachment points.

More gluing area aquired.

Next up, gluing the top piece.

And cut it open after the glue dried!

Getting there.

Guilty!

I was thinking something with an engine in the nose just to be safe, there should be areas to the side that are land-able(if that's even a word).
Hadn't thought about landing on ice, was thinking more of an summer adventure(as this is about 7-8 hours drive and some serious saving for gas, lol).
Not sure if the access down to the resivour is good, maybe a See Addler... for those summer months!   ;)

Speaking of dam(n)s, has anyone sloped off one?    :?:

Yeah, good stuff, I use it almost exclusively on different material bonds. Wood to fiber, plastic to metal, wood to metal, metal on metal(back cross piece in canopy).

Added a list for the covering to sit on.

I think I can live with this.

Everything going on under the hood.

Cheers John, no worries it's just for the setup work, don't want any dust on my fancy rx!

Guide for the dashboard.

Dashboards fastners being glued in.

All the plastic is glued in but I still need to glue the insides of the sides.

No problem Keith!

Added plywood on either side as I need a bit more material for my skid.

Ashlok/Molex connectors keep us plugged in.

Heatshrink on joins.

Equipment plate in the wing area.

Magnets will be used to attach the dashboard.

Then it's on to cutting some plastic.

Three sides ready for some fun.

Primer is sanded off where the canopy plastic is glued to the frame.

Then we apply some glue and wait for it to dry.

After it has dried it's time to get more precise for application of the internal seam. Syringe, silicone tube and a molested q-tip.

Voila!

Just for you Keith!

Who says the Germans don't have sense of humor!!!  :)

Balsa blocks give the hinges something to glue to!

Steel sand, heavy and nice.

Not big.

About 500 gr. in the nose, it'll do until I get all the stuff installed but going by the weight Fred put in his I might easily need another 500 gr. At least it's easier to add weight than remove it!

Dry, dry!

Hmmm, something brewing on the side

Don't worry Keith I've got two other tables at the moment for "other stuff!"

I'll take a picture though they are looking rather clean at the moment as I've used up most of the wood.
