Scale / Solid Carbon rod

Hi all I am still trying to finish the backstrom for Retroplane  All I need to finish is some 6mm and 8mm solid carbon rod, anyone know where I can get some easily please?

Sorry for the delay, to start the year off we will be meeting at Noel Barrett Models at 9-9.30 am on Sunday 3rd May, the may bank holiday weekend. Venue will be decided on the morning, no earlier, Hope to see all the regulars and maybe a few new faces

Control Line / Shannon Control line Flyin 2009

Based on feed-back we have settled on the Saturday, 4th April 2009, for our annual control-line fly-in. Start at 10:00 AM and tea and coffee will be provided throughout day. Look forward to seeing you all again.

Events / CMAC Glide-in 2008

Lads,
    due to popular demand  :clap:  the Cork Model Aero Club's annual glide in it to be held on April 20th 2008. As usual meet at Noel Barretts Washington Street 9:00 am and venue to be decided by 9:30
For those traveling ring me on the morning(087 8322791), all venues less than 1 hour from Cork city.
Me mum should be baking again this year, so first come first served.

Events / MACI National Event

Hello everyone,
    looking for some input here, Fred, Joe, Aidan et al.
As you all know, never go to a MACI AGM you will end up with a job
As Glider sec I have been asked to organise an event for all of us and need a date to run it. Now if it was up to me I would have a week long event in the Isle of Mann, but alas it is going to be run on this fair Isle.

Any thought on a date? Venue (central) and format for the event?

Club talk / MACI AGM

Pity no-one showed up for the AGM. I brought up the ISR club registration and it was suggested that since no one came to the meeting to propose the name, the paperwork came to a standstill. I proposed it at the meeting and it was accepted after some discussion along with a second club.
Again pity there was no delegate from the ISR there.

Scale / Flair K 8

Hi there,
just wondering if anyone has built the Flair K8. I started mine 2 1/2 years ago and still tipping away. Lost interest, lost my way but still intend to Finish.
I also have a West Mendip Sailplanes HS101 Salto (again a work in progress)
Well Hope to hear from someone with the building blues too!

    CMAC are to have an indoor flyin on Saturday November 18th in Middleton, Co. Cork. All Welcome. Helicopters and planks are all welcome. Fred, how about some indoor areotow?
