trawling thru you tube i came across a new film (made in germany) released in germany since april 08, the story of the red baron, saw a few clips on you tube , could be a better film than flyboys, except i havent seen any release date for the rest of europe, the film is called DER ROTE BARON (the red baron) could be one to watch for

funnily enough theres another canadian hero in this one , the fighter ace capt roy brown, if you type in der rote baron into you tube and click on one of the clips it will show you (im sorry i dont know how to post up bookmarks or links)SORRY!!!!!!

although saying that , in the clip there STILL insisting on makin the planes do flick rolls just like in flyboys :x but i think it would still be one to watch out for, I LOVE THESE FILMS

but i think knowing a little bit about planes kinda ruins it for me though

Welcome to the club! I do also love these old plane movies, much more fun that newer ones.

I do hope they start to make more movies like that one, there are truly great stories to be told.
